Cable Beach Caravan Park

My second Home

sunny 32 °C

Well we have spent over two weeks here, or is it three? So we are staying another week at least.....
I don't want to move. The weather is perfect and very comfortable. Apparently it is the only place that doesn't have rain, wind or coldness.. So sounds like a winner for me. We still ride our bikes for abount 16 km per day, walk along Cable Beach every afternoon and twice a week we go to the outdoor garden theatre. Everyone in the park puts there used books and magazines in a swap spot, so we always have plenty of reading material around for free. The neighbours are all lovely, mostly from the bottom of WA. There are only a handfull from NSW and there are still lots of Victorian Mexicans here. They seem to do the journey every year also and stay for four or five months as well. I suppose it would be good to live here every year with the same neighbours. Apparently you can book the same site if you come annually. The staff are also lovely. Everytime I exit or enter the park on my bike they always put the boom gate up for me (otherwise it is a bit of a stuggle trying ti manoever the three wheels through the gate.)
We also don't have midgees, mosquitoes or ants to worry about and the bonus is the pool is fantastic and the sea breezes are perfect. There isn't much more you need! So yes we are staying for at least another week!
